High Desert Fencing Club - 911 SE Wilson Ave, Bend, OR
HDFC is primarily an epee fencing club, though some of our younger members fence foil. HDFC offers winter, spring and fall fencing classes through Bend Parks and Recreation. The club is open Monday through Thursday from 5:30 - 7:30pm.¬† Friday is reserved for fencers in our competitive program.

Coaching is available every night with private¬†lessons in epee available by sign up on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Newcomers to fencing are invited to a¬†free day¬†trial. You can use the club's weapons and protective gear (mask, jacket, glove). Fencing beyond a¬†day requires a $10 USFA membership.

Competitive Fencing Program
The competitive fencing program is run in conjunction with the Northwest Fencing Center in Portland.¬† Once a month¬† one of the NWFC masters visits Bend to give a Friday afternoon and evening group lesson and training session.¬† These clinics are only available to our competitive fencing program members. The fencing masters also offer private lesson to those who are interested.¬† The private lessons are available both before and after the clinic as well as a few conditional Saturday morning slots.¬† Our competitive program members have first priority for lessons but remaining slots are open to anyone.¬† Contact us for costs and availability.
Our competitive program meets all the other Fridays between clinics to continue our training based on the programming and training from our last NWFC clinic.
